About Connection Haven
Thoughtful, relational, and practical therapy for children, teens, adults, couples, and families.
Understand what is happening beneath the hard moments
I provide therapy for children, teens, adults, couples, and families who are ready to understand what is really happening beneath the hard moments. For children and parents, that may mean looking beyond “defiance” or big emotions to understand what a child is communicating and what they need. For adults and couples, it may mean noticing the old hurt, fear, or unmet needs that show up as conflict, anxiety, shutting down, people-pleasing, or feeling alone in a relationship.
My work is thoughtful, relational, and practical. We will slow things down enough to make sense of the patterns that have taken shape, including the ways you may have learned to protect yourself, carry too much, or lose sight of your own needs.
The goal is not to make you or your family perfect. It is to help you feel less alone in what is hard, respond with more understanding and intention, and build relationships that feel safer, more connected, and more like the life you want to be living.

A relationship-centered approach
Our work is attachment-based, trauma-informed, relationship-centered, neuroscience-informed, and attentive to the body's role in emotional health. We help clients make sense of the patterns that shape how they feel, relate, protect themselves, and respond under stress. Internal Family Systems (IFS) is one of the approaches used to help clients understand their protective parts and reconnect with their core Self.
